The European Trade Union Confederation, was set a up to promote the interest of working people at the European level and to represent them in the European union institutions. The ETUC membership comprises 82 National Trade Union Confederations from a total of 36 European countries, and 12 European industry federations, covering some 60 million trade unionists.
Its mission is to create an united Europe, where there is a peace and stability, and where workers and their families are respected human rights, civil, social and employement.
I think that is very important that exist entities of this type, because they help to generate an important stability inside the countries, because it guard over the safety and hapiness of their citizens in all the areas (family, as a workers, etc), which will lead to a very important economic growth.
